Install and Configuration Instructions

After you've downloaded Build Your Web to your local machine and unzip the file, there are some more install and configuration to do. Here is a step-by-step instruction to do that:

Part 1: Install the Build Your Web App

Click on '+' button right to the combobox

Choose file 2sxcApp_BuildYourWeb_01.00.05.zip from your computer and start installation with button 'import'

Wait for installation to complete... (it takes about 5 min, be patient...)

Success!

Note: You may see a warning, that an image could'nt be copied, because it's already exist. You can ignore this message!

Test your installed app

Part 2: Install the Build Your Web Admin skin

Go to Host/Extensions an install skinfile BuildYourWeb-Admin.1.0.5.zip

Part 3: Create the Build Your Web 'Dashboard' page

Go to Pages/Add New Page and enter the name of the page. You can fill in any name (Dashboard is not required)

Scroll down and choose
Template Folder: Templates and
Page Template: BYWDashboard.

Settings: Show in menu

Permissions: View Page/EditPage only for administrators.

Note: If you don't see the Page Template BYWDashboard, go to Admin/File Management and 'Sync root-folder & subfolders'

Click 'Add Page'
button and you should see the Dashboard.

Part 4: Create the Build Your Web 'Contentdetail' page

Go to Pages/Add New Page and enter the name of the page. The default name for the page is 'Contentdetail', but you can fill in any name. If you choose another name you must fill in the name under 2sxc Administration/App/AppSettings.

Settings: Not shown in menu

Permissions: View Page to all users

Now you are ready to use Build Your Web!
